In February 2016, I returned to Sota Tractors, as an all-round Graphic Designer, Web & Marketing Co-ordinator. Sota Tractors specialises in compact tractors and agricultural equipment for small farms. There was a lot of work to restore company visuals to their former glory and improve sales prospects, by redesigning the Sota website, creating hundreds of digital listings for marketing campaigns, starting a Facebook page, YouTube channel and Google Business pages, and designing print marketing materials and signage.
The former SOTA website had become obsolete, so I redesigned a new website in WordPress and updated images, content and structure. This took a few weeks and I customised a Genesis template in the process.
Advertising was reformatted and set to a grid structure, as were the monthly flyers and posters.
I took lots of new photos of a new range of Kubotas for the Sota image library.
I also designed some truck, ute and trailer decals for service vehicles, as well as building signage for branches in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
Social & Audience
Sota did not have a Facebook page, so I created one and built it up slowly, using organic traffic obtained through keywords and relevant content. I also created a YouTube channel and edited some videos using ShotCut, adding start and end frames as well as pacing. I also created Google Business pages for each state, adding lots of photos and Google posts.
