Brunswick Travel & Tour is an Australian family owned business founded and run by Zoe Tyros. Zoe offers a very high level of customer service and her customers come from existing referrals. Customers say that her travel services are sometimes cheaper than Flight Centre and that Zoe offers fantastic advice and is very responsive.
I know who I’ll be phoning for my next holiday!
Zoe commissioned Inkfluence to create a new, small brochure website in WordPress (replacing an old one) to complement and enhance her existing online communication. Since a large proportion of Zoe’s customers access the internet on mobile, I recommended a mini-site with business information captured in brief, attractive sections. The mini-site acts as a hub in collating Zoe’s links as well as communicating Zoe’s business story in a concise and easy to understand manner. With so many travel agents out there, the website needed to stand out and the best way to do this was to capture a “snapshot” or “summary” of Brunswick Travel & Tour, pairing it with beautiful, highly relevant photos that matched the most common travel destinations.
The resulting mini-site is a succinct, original business website in a clean format – allowing customers to absorb the communication much more quickly than the average travel website. With no need for online booking and other functions, it was a great project to focus on the communication and aesthetics. The new Brunswick Travel & Tour site also contains a blog behind the main page, should customers wish to read more about Zoe’s recommended destinations.
Here’s a printscreen of the old BT&T website – it badly needed a refresh! I have included it because it shows what is possible – that an old website can be updated for an affordable price and that making it more responsive to mobile, keeping the communication brief as well as meaningful, and adding aesthetics can make a huge difference in how customers perceive the business.
